Hire terms

These terms summarise how hire and transport bookings work with Rithvin Rylan Transport Pty Ltd (ACN 694 839 051), trading as RR Transport. For self-drive hire, the rental agreement you sign at pickup is the binding contract and takes priority over this page.

Self-drive hire

• The driver must hold a full, current Australian car (C class) licence and show it at pickup. Only drivers named on the agreement may drive.
• A refundable bond is taken at pickup and released after the truck is returned and inspected.
• 150 km are included per hire day. Extra kilometres are charged at $0.30 per km.
• Return the truck with fuel at the same level as at pickup. Missing fuel is charged at cost.
• Tolls, parking and traffic fines incurred during the hire are the hirer’s responsibility. We nominate the hirer as the driver for any fines.
• The hirer is liable for damage during the hire up to the amount set out in the rental agreement ($5,000).
• The truck must not be overloaded, used off-road, sublet, or driven under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Late returns may be charged as an extra day.

Truck with driver, removals and deliveries

• Quotes are based on the details you give us. If the job is materially different on the day (extra items, stairs, waiting time, access issues), the price may change, and we’ll tell you before continuing.
• Goods must be ready to load at the agreed time. Waiting time may be charged.
• We don’t carry dangerous goods, illegal items, cash, jewellery or similar valuables.
• We carry $20 million public liability insurance. Ask before booking if you need transit cover for high-value goods.

Bookings and cancellations

A booking is confirmed once we accept it in writing (email, SMS or WhatsApp). A deposit may be required to hold the date. If you need to cancel, tell us as early as possible so we can release the truck.
